Holi - Fun And Frolic
Holi - Fun And Frolic
Holi is a time to reach out with colors of joy,
And it is the time to play with toys.
Filled with not just "Rangwali" and paints,
But, with tons of happiness and mains.
A festival to commemorate – “Rangeela”,
An enduring love of "Shri Krishna Leela".
Rainbow of "Ras Lila", Splashing out from every nook and cranny,
Rejoicing the birth of "Rangoli".
This is a feast of love,
We eat until we are stuffed.
Hopping, to Alpha,
Drinking the Bhang Lassi,
Chewing, glossy Malpua,
Intoxicates us all with the,
Concept of Community.
Run, run, run
Away you run
Here comes, magic tints,
From the water gun.
A day filled with luster and gaiety,
A day to smear our dreams,
#rangbarse! A spring of unbounded fun and frolic.
Holi - The Picturesque of Colors
Gulal - Yellow - The natural remedy
With Some Turmeric Twigs,
That Trills the Flowers,
Like a beaming,
Ladybugs shining,
For attention,
It sticks out like the sun sticks,
The world out with light.
Red – spreads love and fertility
Steaming creatures,
Sparkle into ablaze.
Of one pretty color,
It sounds like a fire,
Of beautiful Creation.
Blue – Describes Lord Vishnu
He is the sky and the ocean,
Coming together,
To make his gleaming view,
It never fades.
Green - New Beginnings
Green reminds us to,
Shower the leaves,
Mess the mud.
Bushes are yellow-green,
Piercing, Endless,
Gazing keen.
Pink – Depicts Radha Rani,
She looks fair in,
Her pink fluffy hair is like cotton candy,
Soft, Smooth, and Colorful,
Which Smells of Sugar, runs through,
Her strands.
Black – Portrays Lord Krishna
In the darkness, the beauty of Krishna,
His ebony rises envelop all.
Cold, warm nothing,
His Infinite pools,
His holding, his infinite thoughts.
Deep and Hidden.
Blackness is the only,
One with the power,
To his old memories,
To induce his forgetfulness.
But, he is beautiful in Black, and
Eternal on Earth.
Rainbow - The "Rang Bhoomi"
The Holi’s being dipped in water,
Mmm... Nice "Rangabati",
It tastes like chocolate so sweet.
With the delight drumbeats,
Water Balloons,
Lavish Gujiyas, and
Melodious songs,
Celebrating Masti,
All set to Wish you all a "Happy Holi"!
