Silence

Amongst the crowd 

I stand alone 

And people stare 

But my eyes search you  

Do you even care? 

And when the sound of 

The deafening music

Becomes inaudible

For me that's SILENCE.

When the messages I send 

Remains unseen 

The gift I send 

Do not reach on time 

The wishes I send 

Aren't acknowledged 

For me that's SILENCE.

 When roads never meet

When people never speak

Decades of no communication 

I scan and find your name 

Amongst thousands 

Yet cannot make a move

To strike a conversation

For me that's SILENCE.

Entwined in the maze of life 

With strings attached

Inseparable relations

Moral obligations 

And strange situations 

I walk alone

With your thoughts

Watching, clicking 

And gathering inspiration.

Feeling your presence in every action 

And you are nonchalant

unperturbed

For me that's SILENCE
