I'm Happy I Failed
I'm Happy I Failed
When I look back
and brood at my losses and gains,
I understand now,
I have matured;
Because every pain taught me a lesson
to embrace failure,
and evolve into a new person.
So now I smile
And rejoice.
I faced failure and changed my choice.
The choices that made me better
than yesterday.
Today,
I speak confidently,
That I'm reluctant
to give up
on problems so easily.
I failed -
So I changed my course of life
like a river,
That cuts its way
to venture and to strive;
When it fails to flow
In one monotonous direction.
The change doesn't stop her,
It still flows with great current and determination.
I failed
So I changed
my interests
like a chef
Who changes the spices
When the platter fails to suit
The taste buds of the taster,
And creates a new magical recipe
Which paves his way to popularity.
I failed
So I uprooted myself
and found a new address
I must confess
It came with some stress
But finally brought success.
Along came new people
Some hope and dreams
A little struggle but
Happiness extreme.
These failures added
into me
more positivity,
Which lay embedded somewhere in
The deep dungeon
Like the lava inside the volcano -
Hot and molten.
The volcano
Finally erupted -
Nothing can knock me down
Thankfully, I failed several times.
My zeal is my savior
So now I can celebrate and triumph
My failure.
