Shoes

Shoes

My issues are clinical,

My mind is so cynical,

It's not theoretical,

It's become fucking critical.

I was too permissive,

Now people are dismissive,

and I can't be complacent,

so instead I get defensive.

I'm not usually submissive,

Most people find me quite offensive,

they're busy building bridges,

while I'm busy raising fences.

My temper is prolific,

I can be more specific,

got a vocab the size of the Pacific,

and my insults are terrific.

My sarcasm is historic,

you can try but you can't ignore it.

If the shoe fits then I'll make sure you wore it,

You can't buy my silence,

cause you can't afford it.

Yeah the tally is low when it comes to friends,

I am sorely lacking in those dividends,

this shoe fits me so I'll break it in,

It stings a little but it doesn't break skin.

If you don't wanna be called out

Then don't commit the sin,

It takes someone special to really be my friend.

Many have tried but few ever win.

Just when you think,

That you've made it in,

I'll toss you back out,

with a shit-eating grin.
