If you must

Rise and shine if you must,

When you see a child begging around you

Hold his/her hand and show your support,

Motivate that innocent soul,

Be a mentor and an inspiration,

Brighten up his/her life, when you must.

You are returning from a party,

And see a girl waiting for public transport,

Just think once, how nice it will be to give her support,

Ask her if she needs help,

Don't just ignore thinking she is a stranger,

Help her if you must.

Tragic are the accidents about which we hear or read in news,

Bodies lying on the roadside for help,

Wounded, bleeding and crying for medical aid,

Vehicles passing by but not ready to stay,

Take the initiative if you must.

Be an example, set an example,

The coming generations are already deprived of goodness,

Humanity is somewhere dying its cruelest of death,

Think, observe, and empathize.

Education, success and tasty meals,

Are not included in everyone's dreams.

Be a light in the darkness,

Carry the lamp of love, kindness, and optimism 

Speak for justice, if you must.
