Sacrifice Of Wick

I am a small unnoticed wick

Absorbed in oil to get fuel

The soul of the lamp I am

Immolate myself for other's sake

This process continues without brake

God only realizes my sacrifice

For that I was granted a place paradise (God's feet)

Selfless love is the basis of action to suffice 

Took this challenge no objection or price

I completely burn donating light

Bestowed a boon to make the temple bright

Ignorants casually take this process very light

‘Sacrifice’ I teach to be remembered

This is beyond the human cunning mind

When my body wither, there is darkness forever

Till a sister vows and comes to my place sooner

I am a sun in microcosm

Hear all the prayers being at the feet of Him alone
