Run Away

I have been walking for a long time

During the brightest day 

Through the darkest night.

Not my once my feet were willing to stop

As it was walking to that one loved spot.

My feet got tired but you didn't stop chasing me. 

I ran till my feet when numb 

And that's when you came in. 

You caught me when I was about to fall, 

Maybe that's what you do. 

Save people from falling so that they can fall for you.

I finally stopped running and took a second to analyze 

Maybe everything I was looking for

Was in you all this time. 

So I stopped, caught my breath and told you the words

That I think you were waiting to hear
