Endless Happiness
Endless Happiness
I used to believe that happiness
Is an endless feeling.
Spread in an infinite manner
Poured into millions of hearts.
And so, I was never afraid
To give happiness to others
Even if it meant to give them some of mine.
Now I think
What if all the happiness in the world comes
To an end.
What would be left that in me?
What if everyone keeps taking a piece of my happiness without giving me one of theirs?
Many wise man argues that happiness is an inner feeling. It's endless
But an even wiser man will make you believe in how it can't be endless.
You see happiness is like a barter system.
You give them happiness in return for some of theirs.

He to her, her to him thus creating an endless cycle.
But what if we never give.
Would we cease to exist?
Or roam like a dead man
Those who never existed.
Would be selfish
Or shut ourselves until we become completely sane
Here. Sit under the stars or the empty sky
And think what would happen
If the world fails to give happiness
Please tell me what would you
If you run out of happiness too
Because now that I've nothing left to give
And with life yet to live
I was hoping you'd give me some of yours
And I, if had happened to have more
Give you mine.
