Silhouette
Silhouette

She walks towards me.
Arms stretched out
We're miles apart yet so close
A sense of sadness in my eyes
Mingled with a faith of longing
Longing for love and its memories
She's waiting
But I can't reach her
I yell out her name, cry out her love
She doesn't hear me and just walks
At his usual pace
I run towards her, but all in vain
She passed through me as if I was not there
The agony, the hurt, the tears
Flows down like the water through the river
I sob in defeat.
I look up and see a small silhouette
Silhouette of the person she used to be
Of what I used to be
