Regain Your Past Aura

The annihilating abyss

You are approaching fast;

The engulfing anarchy

You now reign over;

The nihilist nadir

You soon would touch -

Are they not of your own making?

Who pushed you to transpose

Your innate humanity with ignoble bestiality,

Guileless innocence with crafty complexity,

Godsend humility with fearsome brutality,

Sublime forgiveness with ruddy revenge,

Divine modesty with false pride,

Lofty morals with fast-falling decency?

Many walked this earth

With your earlier self –

Who lived with dignity,

Cared with compassion,

Fought valiantly,

Loved and got loved

Like you never would;

Yet not beg for My subtle interference,

For they knew, support sans honour

Oft emits a wrenching stench.

Aim you therefore

For an embrace-worthy Arcadia,

Far from this madding crowd,

To extinguish your earthy desires,

Relinquish your rotten ego,

Recompense for the mortal sins, and

Rise again phoenix like,

Urging Me to accord you

Your past aura!
