Rame Day

Fathering 

failures after failures 

And 

becoming rame 

every second moment, 

I masqueraded 

to myself. 

Guzzling 

the pain 

of life quietly, 

I awaited 

miracle to happen. 

Nymph of heaven 

came 

at the prescribed time 

to become 

the partner of life. 

Life became meaningful, 

smile became sanguine. 

Rame day 

knocked my room, 

when small baby girl, 

so immaculate, 

so divine 

cried to drink 

the nectar 

from the nymph.

Heart beat 

galloped 

to give me 

new recognition 

as father.

As she jostled

to my bosom 

to give me 

the sweetest pain, 

I thanked 

the Almighty. 

The rame day 

winked at me

witnessing exudation 

of my unique emotion.
