Rainy Day

I was riding across the hills and a gloomy pathway,

The sun began to sink in the clouds and fade away,

Fresh green landscape with daffodils all way,

The cool breeze covered across..,

My face lit with the gentle touch of rain drops,

All that was around was The echo of wind,

Puddles & wet grass on the way; misty clouds of light blue ray.

I drove back home after a long walk in the rain,

The night sank and I drifted off with --.,

The noise of trees waving through, the chirping of mockingbird,

A loud strike of lightning, the warm fireplace in the room

And the sound of rain across the window pane.

Just like another spring & summer days...

It was a lovely rainy day!!
