Here My Soul Dwells
Here My Soul Dwells
Sitting by the corners of lush green meadow
Stream of water ran from here in a vigorous flow
I saw a white cow cuddling her calf
And the leaves on the trees had a good laugh
Flowers of life danced on the rhythm of wind
That churned from behind
I felt here love is redefined
All the joys of life are amalgamated here
Here I felt the presence of purely divine aura
I was on the seventh cloud of euphoria
Lord of light gave warm adieu to the peaks of dhauladhar
It seemed that heaven is not so far!!!
But glittery dreams of gold have plundered my tranquility
Slowly and steadily smile on my face has begun to cease
As after few beats of my heart I have to return there
To the world which is devoid of concern and care
Where everyone fights like cats and dogs
As emotions are masked in the deep fog
Where no one is there to talk
That world is just a paradox of god
Equipped with these thoughts
Battle of soul and body I fought
Then suddenly a voice echoed from back
It was so strong that my eardrums were on the verge to crack
I was taken aback
As I saw a massive figure in front of my sight
Who told me never to come here at this time of night
My soul wants to rest here
But my body is forced to go there
