Raindrops
Raindrops
As the rain falls and the storm starts its attack
I dwell on all the things we could never say
And slowly all the pain and misery comes back
And the fact remains that you couldn’t stay
The minutes pass like hours
I think of the love that could’ve been ours
As the thunder begins to roar
I guiltily acknowledge I’m yours’
I think of this hurtful memory and regret
Hoping one day I’ll finally forget
