Made real just like a dream.
Paper boats carry my dreams afar.
My children made them sturdy,
With their little hands
And innocent imagination.
Imagination never fails you.
Real life may or may not.
Depends on how passionately
We row our dreams to reality.
The colours painted on my paper boats
Never fade or become dull and rusted.
They stay bright and blossom in my dreams.
They live on like seeds sown in my soul.
Paper boats are lifeboats for me.
They don't let me surrender to storms.
Vulnerable and fragile they may seem.
Yet they stay afloat with my children's dreams.
