Ocean Of Desire

A conflict in heaven

The only realm

Marcus said it was enough

But not Steven

He prayed the divine birth

Created a beautiful domain

The almighty blessed him with a soul

The first human sprouted on Earth

Steven filled with glee

More than satisfied with his creation

Another beautiful place with the human

Whom he blessed with all that could be

"Oh I pray, thee" said the miserable human

"I'm roaming around aimlessly.

There's no good in my life,

Take my life back, it's no fun"

"Why do you cry, my gentle seed?"

So he got a house to live

Birds chirping, trees beautify nature

Animals to pet and fruits to feed

All was right for a while

But there was another problem

"I'm all alone, none to play

Only more of my kind could make me smile"

So with him, we're born another hundred

The population grew

There was not enough for everyone

So the human came with an idea and said,

"So many people, it's not fair

Now there's no place for me

Fight for food, fight for place

I don't want to be made to share

"This was your wish, young one

All this was made for you"

"But now I've got better ideas" the human said with an ecstatic grin

"And I want them done"

"I want power, what you've given is not enough

Oh creator! I've got another wish.

Why not I take your place?

Just let go, it's not that tough

Steven ran to Marcus, "I'm sorry dear brother

Please get things back to normal" he begged

There is no end to human desire

So there was just heaven, not a realm another.
