How do we quiet the demon within?

The seed of the devil that's under the skin?

The voice that cries out in the dead of the night

The one that we battle with all of our might

That voice that's persistent and never gives up

So many out there that drink from that cup

Dragging you backward

Pulling you down

You're trying to swim but it wants you to drown

Here is one thing that

you gotta believe

Without any water you can't grow that seed

Two sides to life, there always will be

The good and the evil, it's no mystery

Don't feed the evil it won't ever grow

This is the thing that I need you to know

Don't nurture that seed that lives under the skin
