Later That Night
Later That Night
Later that night,
When stars were shining bright.
I heard a terrible voice,
It seemed like somebody was crying.
I saw a beautiful young lady,
Bathed with blood and slowly dying.
I asked her,
"Who are you and why are you so terrified"?
She said,
"I am the mother Earth,
The jewel of Heaven and Sky.
I am gruesomely wounded,
My own children let me defy.
They ruin their own houses,
And play games full of lies.
They were cute in their childhood,
but now they do not shy.
They peel off my skin with axes,
And try to burn me alive.
Whole of their life, I give them in immense,
And now they deny.
I fulfill all of their demands,
But their agitation amplifies.
It hurts how much to me,
I can not clarify.
I just want to say my last words to them,
Please, leave me alone and let me dignify".
