Power

Empowered, I feel 

Without the power statements,

Sans the high heels,

Minus the power-suit.

And with no fiery red on my lips.

I embrace my natural self 

Wearing femininity on my sleeves,

Not depending on fake, for real confidence.  

A natural posture and unshaped eyebrows.

So-called imperfection has a beauty in itself.

My humble background and small town tag

Growing up with ancient knowledge of life.

Beautiful is more meaningful than pretty and smart.

Being content is more important than wealth.

A blinding halogen lamp is no better than a candle in the pitch dark.
