Affliction

Once I sat by the window with mind full of irony,

Spiced with a little ounce of agony.

I closed my eyes and started thinking down the lane,

Who were tolerating a lot of pain.

I wish their was nothing like religion

That we were as wild as a pigeon.

I wish we could be free of all the barriers,

And live a life which we desire.

I wish there was nothing like money,

All the selfish souls would turn as sweet as honey.

All the lustful eyes should be diverted away from girls,

And they should be precious just like pearls.

Every boy was a Romeo once,

But turned into Casanova due to a backstabbing perform.

Try being a sensitive guy in this society,

Eventually you will be drowned in anxiety.

What if Hogwarts become alive now?

You will be punished whenever you break the unbreakable vow.

With a single strike of Expecto Patronum,

In fraction of a second I can make anyone numb.

I opened my eyes with mind full of impractical things,

And thought what if I had wings?

I also wish there were no rules,

That I could pen this verse as I wish.
