Things happen contrary to will 

But life moves on

Leaving moments of 

Happiness and sorrow 

Love and betrayal 

Meeting and parting

Far behind.

Nothing is permanent 

Except for the elasticity we have 

Our tremendous desire to live

The capacity and flexibility to accommodate 

And adapt to any situation

To make life bearable 

And continue living against all odds
