Monsoon
Monsoon
Monsoon! O Monsoon!! How beautiful you are,
In the hot summer you seem to be very far;
But here you have come like a fast approaching car.
The rain falls hither, thither without any direction,
In this cool season, not a soul has any tension;
And frogs croaking in the ponds, not to mention.
From Alaska to Japan, monsoon is all the same,
To fill-up dried lakes and rivers is its single aim;
For the mishaps caused, you can't put on it any blame.
A boon for farmers as it provides them with water,
Peacocks dancing in the wild and adding their color;
This is just a poem but on seeing monsoon you know better.
