Mom
Mom
She was like the sun, bright and warm.
Always on her face, had she a smile and a pinch of charm.
She was a splendid woman, selfless and calm.
But careless in the kitchen whenever she hurt her palm.
She always caressed me, running her hands through my hair.
It was soothing indeed as I slept comfortably in my bed.
She was an adoring beauty,
Never actually got paid for her duty.
When I was happy, her face was like a lamp lit.
She gave a lot and never expected a bit.
She, always protected me from the dark as she herself was the light.
I call her MOM and she is my LIFE.
