Minding the gap
Minding the gap
Warm and cozy,
The lament was sung,
I lay in the corner of the funeral,
People laughed and judged,
Described how I died,
Mistakes were discussed,
Some fake cried.
Those who were shattered,
Stayed dead quiet,
My Life was a mistake,
Darkness painted with white.
Did things ever fall in place?
God smirked and denied,
It was the mess that directed the life,
All the good and beautiful things,
Were the gaps between the lines,
But my entire life was lived,
Minding the gaps in between.
