Talk it Out
Talk it Out

Sit on the bench and pick up your pen
Stare at the walls and think of a story to write
You're out of ideas, again
You stare at the wall and think till midnight
All in vain.
Something's nagging at your mind
You've been lying to everyone, telling them that "You're fine"
You recollect your thoughts and all your past entwined
You sigh, and pour yourself a glass of wine
And bottle your feelings up again.
Remember, the bottle's go
ing to burst one day
And emotions will spill out in the form of tears
You can keep the task of talking it out at bay
Sure, everyone has their problems and affairs
But there are some people who are willing to unscrew the cap.
Therapy, diaries and journals
Long walks, positivity and good sleep
Share you stories and your worries
Some people are understanding and deep
So stop waking up in the morning just to go back to bed every night.
