The Euphony of Nature
The Euphony of Nature
Pelting comes the drops of rain,
flooding wholly, the trenchant pain.
It glistens on blades and douses the trees,
and from enervation the mind it frees.
It lashes with vigour, the shores of seas,
joining in with the wauls of the breeze.
Astonishes it does, the minds of men,
as it revives to life the withered glens
Dulcet it is, its little bickering,
against the windows with lanterns flickering.
Yet none can fathom its source of elation,
that streaks verdure the entire nation.
It kindles coolness that is then etched in hearts,
Oh, how exemplary is nature's art!
