What are WE!!

When we are born our soul is pure, the mind is fresh,

Our skin is unstained, our future is bright.

We don't know how to walk the talk,

We are untouched by any malice,

We only know to feel:

- the bright sunlight blurring our eyes.

- the fresh morning air soothing our minds.

Then as our senses grow stronger,

And our memories keep piling up,

As we become more aware of our kind,

Understand to reason, start to rationalize, learn to think,

As we become more human and less humane,

- we learn to consume incessantly.

- we learn to plunder carelessly.

That's when we start fearing the inevitable,

That's when we start blaming everyone else,

That's when we start fighting for every inch,

That's when we start killing for every bite,

That's when we become what we really are:

Animals.
