Winding paths in my life
Many of which my way I lost
Steep and silent the walk
Most of which alone I walked
The tears in silence I did cry
Talking whispers to my heart
Cuddling its brokenness with much pain
Singing a tune only my mind knew the lines
This year a walk along the same highway of life
But with renewed strength, I take the streets
Persevere and resilience are the drive
Empowering my mind to move on with life.
