Mahabharata
Mahabharata
In ancient India, a tale was told,
Of heroes, villains, and warriors bold,
A story that spanned the ages,
The epic saga of the Mahabharata pages.
A battle for power, between two kin,
The Kuru and Pandava clans within,
Their differences, grew into strife,
A war, that would change their lives.
Amidst the battle, divine chariots flew,
With warriors, who fought, with valor true,
Their weapons, a sight, to behold,
The battlefield, a story to unfold.
Arjuna, with his bow, Gandiva held,
Bheema, with his strength, the earth quelled,
Yudhishthira, with his wisdom, led the way,
Nakula and Sahadeva, with their skills, to slay.
On the other side, Duryodhana, full of hate,
Karna, with his loyalty, sealed his fate,
Shakuni, with his cunning, played his game,
The war, a reflection, of their shame.
But amidst the chaos, a message true,
Of dharma, righteousness, and virtue,
Of the choices, we make, in life,
And the consequences, of our strife.
The Mahabharata, a tale to learn,
Of the past, present, and future to discern,
A story that still, rings true today,
Of the human condition, in every way.
