Life, Uncertainty and Hope

When the dark of the night engulfed the moon, 

A haunting silence took over the mind, 

The dew of heaven dried up so soon, 

When all that's loved was left behind. 

Then the heart painfully soaking with tears, 

When grief's strides are too slow, 

And when faced with all that the soul fears, 

Find solace and strength as our pens flow.

Wretched, gloomy and bitter as it sounds, 

Everything's bound to end someday, 

While life passes through uncertain grounds, 

This moment here will melt away. 

But if that's how everything's meant to be,

Look, the sun is rising again, let us be free.
