Let them Hatch
Let them Hatch
The pleas made from the heart's depth
To divine or human alike
Fails to yield the outcomes meant to be
As the shells that sheath a life within
Awaits its hour to hatch
Have you no patience, pal?
For it is a virtue, to be sown
To reap a harvest just and full
All petitions heard, must hold back
The verdict to ripe for its own sake
Like the prophesied fall of Babylon
