LET’S “SEA” THE CHANGE!
Look, look what we have done to our beautiful seas…
They are but helpless soldiers being cut off at their knees
The forests of coral, the schools of fish
We have now destroyed as per our wish
In the name of progress and industrialisation
What have we not done?
We exploited the ocean’s minerals
Our carelessness causing oil spills to run
But who were we to care of the ocean’s lost beauty?
We simply exploited it more, providing tourism to the community<

Poor industrial waste disposal did not help
With its chemical remnants, causing overgrowth of kelp
Our blast fishing and habitat destruction
Rendered the food chain disrupted and broken.
The tortured creatures, how could they fight?
If our pollution continues, in 2100, the sea will be as black as the night
But wait, all hope is not lost
We must ameliorate our actions, no matter what the cost
With perseverance, research and time
Poseidon’s treasure will once again be prime!
