The White Dove Of Peace

The world is at war and our hearts are full of fear

In too many eyes we notice a tear

No one is able to help or save

For this is the path we humans have paved

Just when our shoulders drooped and our heads were bent

From the high heavens, a white dove was sent

The great dove brought peace and with peace came love

Such was the power of the dove

Little by little we learnt its ways,

It saved our souls without being fazed

With imagination, hope and innovation,

It became our symbol of reincarnation

The darkness and hate all turned to joy

We rose and bid our misery goodbye

Now it was time to do our part

So we banished the fear from our heart

Our goal was to help everyone dear

And wipe every tear

We did our best and stopped terror’s rampage

Only to realise the white dove was nothing but our courage!!
