You’re disappointed, or they’re disappointed,

Doesn’t really matter.

But why any disappointments? Why any promises?

That does matter.

Why any expectations? Why any glooms?

That does matter.

It’s your life, Or it’s their life,

You have to live, They have to live,

That does matter.

You survive how you want to,

They’ll survive how they want.

But in the end, all that matters,

Is that you’re happy, and they’re happy.

So no disappointments, no promises,

No expectations, no glooms.
