I am a poet
I wonder why man is wicked
I hear the sound of the crowd crying for justice
I see a capital full of aggrieved
I want to live the people with hope
I am a poet
I pretend I am weak until a nail is driven and the throat choked
I feel proud of humanity
I touch my heart to feel their hurt
I worry that my home will soon be taken
I cry about my brother's silence
I am a poet
I understand how much my brother lust for justice
I say that when I win the soul, together we will overcome
I dream about a world of equality and freedom
I try a chase against the alsatians, our foe
I hope to pledge my wholeness to fight unending
I am a poet
