Journey

I am on my own journey

That is still in progress

I am savoring each bite of it

Do not have even an ounce of regret

Birth was not my choice

The ultimate ...I cannot choose

Let me enjoy 'in between' and let myself loose

I am more like a river that flows incessant

Through valleys, plains, difficult and different terrain

Many tributaries have enriched my core

Near and dear ones, friends have fed me with love's nectar

I don't have enough words to thank each of them

My journey so far has been a blessing

A privilege all along

There has been a few misgivings

A few anomalies here and there

But overall the going has been great

Suffused with nuggets of goodness and love.
