It’s Election Time

For us, it’s our MP selection time,

For India, it’s 2019 Election time.

People divided in Bhakts of Namo of followers of Raga,

State to state, city to city, it’s a different saga.

The election has its effect on everything, be it TV or Twitter,

Sometimes the debates turn ugly and bitter.

Before elections, we used to enjoy only gup-shup,

But now, it’s all political post on WhatsApp.

Newspapers and walls are full of candidate pics,

A social gathering or tea stalls, there is only politics.

Choose the right candidate, it’s the duty of us all,

Be it UP, Punjab, Bihar or West Bengal.

Whoever wins, only one thing we have to note,

The country wins, when all of us will vote.
