Walking upon the earth
All alone by myself,
I wondered if the sun ever sleeps,
If the sky ever keeps its secret,
If dewdrops ever cry,
If a spider grumbles weaving,
If a bird ever fears its flight.
I asked a bee,
How many trips it makes
To earn a mouthful of honey.
A tortoise, how to manage the pace of life,
A rainbow, if it ever complains about the short span of life.
Who would give me sunrise in a cup
If I do not wake up early?
Who would let me out some gala day,
With implements to fly away, passing pomposity?
