I Wish
I Wish
Sometimes I wish I were a piece of log
Static at a place indifferent of rain or fog
I would observe kids play and moan
By just sitting in my comfort zone
Sometimes I wish I were the clouds
Having power to make thundering sounds
I would have been the farmer's soul hope
In a second would shrink away like a soap
Sometimes I wish I were an ant
Mount Everest for me would have been a plant
I would have worked hard to collect food with my troop
And next day would have done the same on loop
Sometimes I wish
I was anything but a woman
Who is living in a world full of people inhuman
Where goddesses are worshipped in the day
And the next night are attacked like mutton in their tray.
