I Live In A Time
I Live In A Time
I live in a time where man wears the time,
And yet has no time;
This is the age of ultron,
Particles made of neutron and electron,
And man slaved by technology and machine.
I live in a time where mother earth is called planet,
And wears an invisible cloak of network through satellites,
Tainted by chemicals and dynamite;
This is the age of discovery,
Man searches for life across space far away,
Wherein life on earth dying every day.
I live in a time where brand speaks,
From tip to toe man in brand makes sense,
Otherwise you have no dressing sense;
This is the age of fashion,
Now it looks like clothes make the man,
Not man makes the clothes.
I live in a time where being human means Homo sapiens,
Made of 206 bones, blood vessels and organ system,
Virtue, humanity and righteousness are people’s names;
This is the age of 21st century,
Everything is fast, everything is changing,
And with this change no man can tell,
Whether it’ll bring evolution or destruction.
