I Choose To Be Happy :)

 

I may not know what I want in life,                                        

I choose to be happy; 

There are times I stumble and tumble and lie a bit too longer, 

I choose to be happy;

I'm imperfect in several ways and make the same mistakes,

I choose to be happy;

Often I while away time doing nothing substantial though I'm aware of the haunting deadlines,

I choose to be happy; 

I give several chances to people who don't deserve which keeps me writhing in pain,

I choose to be happy;

I compare myself with others which either demeans or inflates my sense of self,

I still choose to be happy;

These are the moments I'm thankful for this gift called life and rise to live with grace, embracing each day,

When I choose to be happy.
