"I Am Proud Of You" Compliment

19 years of my existence still yearning to find refuge in some non-judgmental aura,

Nobody is yet to answer or do I need to surf some quora?

I have seen my peers putting up posts like - got appreciated by or my father is a hero,

"I am proud of you"- I don't know what this feeling feels like coz in my dad's eyes I have always been a zero!

The reason being a bit different or all in all me being anti-social,

But dad confuse it to me being a bad girl 'coz I have built myself stronger that's the moral,

I admit I am unable to make dishes so deliciously as the kitchen is not my kind of solace,

Without it in your life or heart wherever possible can I find someplace,

Yes, my wardrobe does not include suits, salwar or Kurti,

It's not me being a characterless, dad; neither my jeans a reason to let those thirsty hounds stare at my booty,

I admit I am not an hour approved early bird,

But I am progressive night nerd,

I am sorry I am unapologetic towards your indifferent attitude on account of this,

Can I be accepted as I am, please?

If your principles are not in coordination with my high headedness then don't call out to me to make an adjustment,

'Coz if have to place you in haters or well-wishers I am still under that predicament...!
