Hours Of Disquietude

Dicey like the raging tempest,

Rampaging like an inferno,

Onerous to recon is its dynamic rhythm,

A myriad of vivacity it wrecks like a nocuous hoover,

A blight concocts on the body,

It is the atrocious CANCER,

It devours the rapture, and frosts life,

Life becomes somber all of a sudden,

Agony wakes up every other day,

Cosmic waves desert your soul,

It sets off an unfaltering tale,

I remember vividly,

A malady struck his only ray of sunshine,

His grieving tears filled the aisle,

Wept and wept eyes vermillion...

His heart throbbed with pain,

Voice of his mother echoed again and again,

Mother! Mother! He cried, but, all in vain,

After a while, a shadow stark,

Appeared a doctor through the dark,

Little did he reassure about her health,

His surrounding sensed a traumatic end,

Urged the doctor to sign the document,

Bewildered was he for his father's face,

He plodded towards the room where his mom lay all so pale,

He perched near the walls where she lay,

Remembered the delightful memories and was also remorseful for he had fought,

Days passed away and their hopes receded,

But, he got his mom perfectly anew,

Her body drained from all the vigor,

Happy was he for she was back,

But, all had to be done back from scratch,

He cursed the wicked who spoiled her radiance,

Flicked everything he had towards him,

For he nipped his own flesh...

His mom battles her illness day in and day out now,

Anticipating for good to shine upon her...

And light away, he prays every day!!!

Salient it is to know, you can vanquish CANCER,

It's time to tune into life,

After all, life isn't an aeon, it turns out to be an epoch in the human era,
