An Ode to Teachers

I had come to grip with a new aura,

A few years after that,

I took a trip down a memory lane,

I was once bestowed with a key,

In the chest resided,

Personas who contributed indelible virtues in my life,

They are my Teachers!!!

After my parents,

Their penumbra tiled my esplanade,

The ruminations I penned, by the dint of their adroit,

My luster they unearthed,

I asked them once... "Who am I? "

They replied, "A crystal who I turn a dazzling diamond",

They indeed are one of a kind,

They are my Teachers!!!

My mind they decipher,

Buffs it, all off any dust,

I think of them in awe,

Only they know their modus operandi,

My tears they shape to my vibrancy,

I don't fathom, how?

They have nailed that artistry,

They are my Teachers!!!

For the bad, I am admonished and for the good I am fortified,

No one can make it finer ever than they do,

Their imprints left I can never forget,

A spesh place they will have in my echoes and gestures,

A trademark they made of nothing in me,

They are my Teachers!!!

My dolorous tales they turn into defunct ones,

Like a candle, they glowed and finished in my life,

I can't embody them in mere words,

They have played an enduring narrative with me,

They are my Teachers!!!
