When you look around. what do you see?

I see poverty, looking at me.

Starving people all around.

Mostly children stuck to the ground.

So weak and thirsty, unable to lift themselves up.

Their lives are misery, from the start.

They enter the world, latching to their mothers.

Searching for milk.

When you look, into their sadden eyes.

Makes you want to cry, most people turn.

And look the other way, my question is.

Does that make poverty disappear?

The answer is No...

People don't want to see, the truth about the society we live in.

It's full of greed and money, forget the poverty-stricken.

Not our bloody concern, it's all about who owns what.

The biggest and nicest, money can buy.

No one gives a shit, about the boy in the picture.

For whatever there, reasons may be.

Does that mean, we should be blinded?

By the misery, they are living.

There are fragile bodies and loose skin about to fall.

Bones poking through, their weeping eyes.

Covered by flies and all.

It's another story, about poverty.

So next time it's staring at you.

Give a hand, and make a stand.

A small change could make a difference.

Between life and death.

Fate or destiny.
