Hope
Hope
When everything seems dark and grim,
All happiness seems to dim.
When your life seems to be racked with guilt,
All you need is some hope to rebuild.
Start afresh, start new,
In spite of no clue.
Try to diminish your feelings of blue,
T'is indeed hard to do.
Your past's a misery,
Your future's foggy.
Try and learn to cope,
And look within for a ray of hope.
Let go your hopelessness,
All you need is some openness.
All these years you lay in despair,
A ray of hope does the repair.
Life is like quicksand, it sucks all into itself,
But keep going, you have to be yourself.
There's just one thing you must be keen to find,
Some hope and some peace in your mind.
Exhausted, annihilated and beaten; you lay in need,
Some love and some hope is all that you need.
At the end of the day, don't mope,
Try to live with a little more hope.
