Tell me,

Can you hear

My unvoiced cries of anguish?

Tell me,

Can you see

Bruises of my soul?


Tell me,

Can you listen,

My unsaid words?


Tell me,

Can you wipe,

My unshed tears?


Tell me,

Can you extend,

A soothing hand,

Over my aching heart?


Tell me,

Can you lend

An unjudging ear?

Tell me,

Can you hug me tight,

And tell me with conviction,

Everything will be alright?


My heart is bleeding

My soul is crying

My eyes are wandering

My mind is numbed

I am almost half dead.
