God At Work

Have you seen God out there?

The one who holds the written word, 

Who shares the morals for the mortals, 

Who tells you the path to glory, 

Or at least, bereft of misery. 

Have you seen God inside?

Who talks to you at the time of doubt.

When the confusion reigns, 

Or the decision limps, 

There is a light that shows the right. 

Have you seen God in others?

Who teaches us not to judge, 

Who proclaims the beings as equals, 

Who measures all not by fault, 

But the yardstick of intention. 

Have you seen God unite?

The rules and the rituals, 

Mandates and the motives, 

Mindset and the hindsight, 

Leading to a meditative journey of joy.
