Fulfilled Desires

Fulfilled Desires

In the realm of Navratri's grand parade,

On the eighth night, in peacock green arrayed,

Where desires and wishes take centre stage,

A tapestry woven by hearts, a vibrant page.

Peacock green, a hue so divine,

Signifying dreams that in our hearts entwine,

With each step of the graceful dance,

We celebrate the fulfilment of a chance.

As women in resplendent attire sway,

They beckon blessings in this luminous display,

With devotion and hope, they raise their voice,

To the Goddess, their hearts rejoice.

In the moon's soft glow, and starlight gleam,

They live their desires, their cherished dream,

For in peacock green, their spirits soars,

Fulfilling wishes, opening new doors.

With each day that passes, each verse they sing,

They honour the Goddess, to her, they cling,

And in this radiant sea of green and gold,

Desires fulfilled, their stories unfold.

Through the dance and the devotion, they find,

A connection to the divine, one of a kind,

In peacock green's embrace, their hearts take flight,

As desires and wishes come true on this night.
