I wrote poetry for him
But it never rhymed with his heartbeats
I wrote it again
Then it broke the chords of our love
I tried to tie it back
But it never fitted
And I lost my charm
My words turned into ashes of old glory
My words wept in vain for my reign
I faltered but my words didn't give up
They piled up and I burst to let them free
To give them wings to sing my song
To the unheard, unknown, scarlet red minds.
